Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). The Contractor shall provide the necessary materials, equipment, and labor associated to furnish, deliver and install (4) New Proposed Steel Containers, manufactured, assembled and delivered by Blue Line Equipment Sales, Corp; with new assemblies, anchoring details, as well as Mechanical & Electrical details shown herein contract drawings. Make reference to the project contract drawings consisting of sheets A-1.1, 2.0, ME-2.0, and 3.0, here in prepared in-house by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, Design & Construction Bureau for Fire Station #63- located at 1655 NE 205th Street, Miami, Fl. 33179. Nonetheless it’s the contractor’s responsibility to field measure and verify each existing project notes and components associated with this project scope of work. Gym container: 20’0” x 16’-0” (2 containers 20’-0” X 8’-0” each) / Exercise Fitness & Equipment System: The contractor shall provide the necessary labor, material and equipment to furnish, assemble and install Steel container to serve as gym inclusive of all exercise equipment shown on floor plan & equipment schedule, as shown herein the project contract drawings. Rogue Fitness System: The contractor shall provide the necessary labor, material and equipment to furnish, assemble and install All exercise equipment shown on floor plan & equipment schedule, inside the steel container as shown herein the project contract drawings. GC to coordinate backing type and locations with manufacturer, see herein contract drawings A-2.0 for details. GearGrid Standard Wall Mounted Lockers: The contractor shall provide the necessary labor, material and equipment to furnish, assemble and install (21) GearGrid wall mounted lockers with doors; Color: Red - 20”W x 20”D x72”H (21-Openings/Bank of 21). GearHanger Hanging Rods-20”, and GearHanger Secure Bracket Kits; to be installed inside the steel container as shown herein contract drawings, sheet A-2.0, for details. For the walls at Locker Room (GearGrid) container, use proper backing, install new insulation and cover with new ¾” CDX Plywood. Use Aluminum .063” thick Diamond Plate as finish, over the new plywood to dress up walls, prior to installing new lockers, use waffle head screws to install new Diamond plate. EMS Container: 20’-0” x 8’0” (1 container) to be placed Adjacent to the Geargrid container, contractor shall provide the necessary labor, material and EMS equipment to furnish, assemble and install (8) Metal Storage Racks F1 & F2, to be installed inside the steel container as shown herein contract drawings A-2.0, for details. Affix/ Install new Plastic laminate “FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic Panels)” in white finish, over the ¾” CDX plywood for All wall finished including Ceilings. This is for those walls that are not specified with other finishes. The work includes, but not limited to: • Contractor to provide and install, Total of 4 containers that will be placed under existing canopy on existing concrete área as shown on sheet A1.1. All containers for the above project are to be in New Condition (not used) and Second hand used containers will not be approved or accepted for this project. • Scope is to be inclusive of all interior/exterior work i.e. (HVAC, electrical, etc). Refer to plans/specs for additional information. • All work to comply with current FBC, NFPA, Mechanical/Electrical code etc. • Contractor to provide labor, material, transportation and equipment and perform all operations required for the installation of the proposed Steel containers. Contractor to follow the requirements listed on the RPQ and project contract drawings at all times. Contractor is responsible to comply with all requirements, according to Miami-Dade Construction Contract • Contractor to include necessary dumpster as required to comply with the proposed scope of work. • Min. of 5 years manufactures warranty on All products and installation. • Replace any and All damaged areas affected by the construction phase as needed. • All Containers are to be provided with new Exterior Windows and Doors. Refer to window-door schedule for additional information. All door hardware is to be included. All items are to have current and valid NOAs and be Miami-Dade County approved. Provide shop drawings for MDFR review and approval prior to purchasing and installation. • Contactor is responsible to call All utility companies for underground location and shall Not begin excavating/digging until all underground utilities have been identified & located. • Work required to be accomplished during off hours and weekends, as necessary to meet and comply with the project schedule or sequence of the work shall be performed by the contractor at no additional cost to owner. • Storing of material will only be allowed by contractor written request and MDFR Construction Manager written approval. If grounds are used for storing material, equipment, working area, etc., contractor to return grounds, to its original conditions. • The contractor shall notify MDFR Project Manager of any deviations or conditions encountered which are contrary to those indicated on the project contract drawing documents. Failure to make written notifications, shall place responsibility upon the contractor to carry out the work in a satisfactory and workmanlike manner. • MDFR Fire Rescue Facility is NOT allowed for contractor use, therefore contractor shall consider portable toilets; service & maintain port-o-let and other temporary equipment for contractor’s use. Contractor and their employees are not allowed inside the fire station for No reason. • MDFR emergency vehicles have the Right-Of-Way at all times. Contractor’s and or Subcontractors are not to block or interfere with MDFR daily operations. • Environmental Protection – Contractor shall be responsible for the prevention of environmental pollution including but not limited to: dust control, erosion etc. as a result of construction operations under this project contract. • The awarded Contractor shall provide copies of the shop drawings and calculations for review and approval no later than 5 days after receipt of Contract Award/ Purchase Order • Shop Drawings to be submitted for owner (MDFR) approval prior to All Container’s fabrication • Paint All containers - Color to be approved by MDFR prior to acceptance & delivery. Appropriate backing is to be provided all throughout where ever an HVAC mini-split system is to be installed. • All exterior mounted Mini-split compressor units are to be installed on welded steel angle supports. GC to provided drawings and details prior to fabrication. • All HVAC condensate plumbing lines are to be included and to terminate at the drywells. See plans for locations. • Note that all exterior container penetrations are to be properly sealed and water tight to prevent any water infiltration. • All containers are to include thermal insulation in both ceilings and walls. All container ceilings to include FRP paneling. • All interior framing members are to be PT (Pressure treated) 2”x4” • All interior plywood is to be PT 5/8” The proposed (4) Steel Containers shall consist of the following minimum requirements as per (MDFRD) and Blue Line Equipment Sales Corp.: 1. (2)-20' Dry Van Container(2) / NEW (Bunker Gear & EMS Room - See Sheets A-2.0, ME-2.0, 3.0) EACH container components as follows: Container(s) Transportation Accessories – 2 X (1 X Electrical Package w/LED lights. 2 X (1 X SPLIT A/C UNIT (Provide Model #, Tonage & BTU’s) 2 X (1 X Steel Door (To resist Wind Load per FBC) 1 X (1 X Cut & Frame for door openings one at each container 1 X (10 X INSULATED PANELS - For all walls and ceilings 1 X (3 X DIAMOND PLATE full Wall height at Bunker Gear room typ. all walls. 1 X (6 X F.R.P PANELS ¾” Thk. 1 X (1 X C CHANNEL 1 X (4 X LOCKING CLAMPS 1 X (4 X Container Tie Downs 1 X (1X finish floor system with proposed Tarkett commercial Non PVC Plank & Tile collection Flooring Planks or approved equal- over container floor. Color to be determined by Project Architect, submit shop drawings for approval, prior to purchasing and installation The wall space (Left side of entrance Door) to receive FRP panels as finished wall, for the Bunker Gear and EMS Container. As previously mentioned, any field deviations contractor shall notify MDFR immediately for further investigation and resolution. Safety and Security Precautions – All on-site contractor’s personnel, shall have identification and or company business attire according to the rules and regulations set by Miami-Dade Construction Contract. Contractor shall be responsible for the storage and protection of materials & equipment’s. Contractor shall provide barriers/ barricades etc. as necessary to prevent entry and protect construction employees/ personnel at all times. Contractor shall be responsible for all safety precautions and accident preventive provisions of OSHA and all applicable safety codes; Including no claims shall be made against (MDFR) by reason of any act of an employee or trespasser.
