SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of work provided in the RPQ and or advertisement, is an abbreviated scope. The Contractor must refer to the contract documents (drawings and specifications) for the full scope of work. The scope of work consists of furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, including all associated permits, maintenance of traffic (MOT) and all other items necessary for the successful completion of the project, which shall include purchasing and installing the specified equipment and materials. High Voltage Transformers Replacement 1. Removal and replacement of (2) existing 1500KVA (13.2KV/480V-277V) transformers. Scope of work shall include all required material and labor including wiring to ensure the facility is up and running as indicated in the phasing plan. 2. Removal of (5) existing 1500KVA (13.2KV/416KV-2.4KV) transformers. Scope of work shall include all required material and labor including wiring to ensure the facility is up and running as indicated in the phasing plan. 3. Removal of (4) existing 1500KVA 400A transfer switches. Scope of work shall include all required material and labor including wiring to ensure the facility is up and running as indicated in the phasing plan. Required Experience/Qualifications: The lowest, responsive bidder is required, after Bid Opening and within three (3) business days of County’s written request, to provide the Bidder’s references for projects that are representative of the general scope of work which is currently being advertised, of equal or greater value, and that demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of experience and/or completed a minimum of three (3) similar projects. In accordance with Resolution R-1122-21, the experience of the Bidder’s key personnel or Bidder’s proposed subcontractor will be considered in assessing whether the Bidder complies with this solicitation’s minimum experience or completed project requirement. Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit: A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT ARE SCHEDULED. It is highly recommended that Bidders interested in attending the Meeting and Site Visit pre-register by emailing [email protected] (copy [email protected]). Bidder must submit a completed, notarized Confidentiality Affidavit in order to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit - form provided in the Bid Documents ([email protected], copy [email protected]). Bidders who have not submitted a Confidentiality Affidavit will be requested to leave the Meeting and Site Visit. Meet at 200 N.W. 1 Street, Miami, FL 33128 (1st Floor Lobby of the Central Support Facility (CSF)). Bidders arriving after 10:10 AM WILL NOT be allowed into MEETING OR SITE VISIT. Examination of Bid Documents: Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall examine the Bid Documents including Plans/Specs, which must be obtained from People and Internal Operations Department (PIOD) Kristina Hagberg after submitting a completed, notarized Confidentiality Affidavit. Requests for Information (RFIs): All requests for information (RFIs) shall comply with the Cone of Silence, Administrative Order 3-27 and shall be emailed to [email protected] with a copy to [email protected] and [email protected]. The deadline to receive RFIs from bidders is no later than 2 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
