Travel Tips for Residents and Visitors
Whether you're arriving for a match or traveling through Miami during FIFA World Cup 26™, plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey.
- Arrive at Miami International Airport (MIA) earlier than usual, as increased passenger volumes and enhanced security screening may result in longer wait times.
- Consider using public transportation, rideshare services, or shared transportation options whenever possible.
- Check your flight status and review airport advisories before departing for the airport.
- Expect heavier traffic near airport terminals and major transportation corridors on match days and during peak arrival and departure periods.
- Follow all airport signage, transportation guidance, and safety instructions while traveling through MIA.
- International travelers should ensure passports and travel documents are valid, up to date, and easily accessible.
If you observe something concerning, notify airport personnel or law enforcement immediately.
