From arrival to departure, MIA will help ensure every journey through Miami is efficient, welcoming, and unforgettable.

Throughout the tournament period, MDAD will work in close partnership with federal, state, regional, and local agencies to maintain operational excellence, manage peak passenger demand, and support the dynamic needs of one of the world’s largest sporting events. Travelers will also have access to timely airport and tournament-related information designed to keep visitors informed, connected, and moving with ease.

Enhanced Airport Operations & Passenger Processing
MIA will implement enhanced operational measures to accommodate increased international and domestic passenger traffic during the FIFA World Cup period. Additional staffing, multilingual customer assistance, and coordination with federal security screening agencies and airline partners will support efficient passenger flow and airport operations.

Ground Transportation & Traffic Coordination
MDAD is coordinating with transportation agencies, rideshare providers, and law enforcement partners to facilitate efficient ground transportation access to and from the airport. Efforts focus on reducing congestion, improving wayfinding, and supporting transit connections for visitors and residents.

Safety & Security Coordination
MDAD will work alongside the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), local law enforcement, and emergency management partners to support a safe and secure airport environment.
