About Trail Glades Range

Since 1952, the Trail Glades Range - a premium outdoor public sport-shooting facility – has provided novice, recreational and competitive shooting enthusiasts with an open-air facility to hone their shooting skills. The focus of the range is safety, education and customer service.

Our staff strive to provide patrons a protected environment where they can improve their technical skills in all shooting sports. Reservations are only required on the tactical range, otherwise it’s on a first come, first-served basis.

Unlike other ranges, all venues are available to the public when the range is open.

Amenities include:

  • A multiple position, 50-yard practical range
  • A 35-position, 7-to-50-yard pistol range
  • A 32-position, 25-to-100-yard rifle range
  • Six trap-and-skeet fields, including an international skeet field
  • 18 RV spaces with water and electrical hookup, for use during tournaments
  • Pro Shop

Trail Glades Range is a part of Miami-Dade County's Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department.
