Range Safety Course

Range Safety Course

The 30-minute Range Safety Course is required before using the Main Range. The course is taught by trained Gun Range Officers and covers:

  • Safe firearm handling
  • Proper storage of firearms and ammunition in the home
  • Main Range safety procedures

Course Schedule

Safety courses are offered daily, every hour on the hour.

  • The first class begins one hour after the range opens
  • The final class begins one hour before the range closes

Trail Glades Range Safety Card Upon completing the course, patrons will receive a Trail Glades Range safety card that is valid for three years.

The safety card must be presented when:

  • Purchasing range time
  • Entering the Main Range

After three years, patrons must retake the Range Safety Course to renew their card.

Course and Card Fees

The Range Safety Course is free with the purchase of a $15 Trail Glades Range safety card. Lost safety cards may be replaced for a $15 fee.
