Fleet Shop 1 Main- Rooftop Air Conditioning Package Unit Replacement.

Scope of Work Work under this Contract includes furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment and performing all operations required to perform the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. Work includes but is not limited to Furnishing and Installing a new 5-ton rooftop air conditioning package unit with energy-efficient, EPA-compliant, and Miami-Dade County–approved commercial systems in compliance with new refrigerant and building code standards effective 2025. Work also includes removal of existing 5-ton Carrier unit Model 50IM-006-V501, Rooftop. Additional details are listed under Article 2.02 of the Special Provisions.

The Contractor shall hold all licenses and/or certifications, obtain and pay for all permits and/or inspections, and comply with all laws, ordinances, regulations and building code requirements applicable to the Work required herein. Damages, penalties, and/or fines imposed on the County or an Awarded Bidder for failure to obtain and maintain required licenses, certifications, permits and/or inspections, shall be borne by said Contractor. Pursuant to the requirements of Section 10-3 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, Florida and these Solicitation and Contract Documents, the Bidder must hold a valid, current, and active: Certificate of Competency from the County’s Construction Trades Qualifying Board as Air Conditioning contractor. or General Mechanic Contractor License or state refrigeration contractor license will be allowed to perform the Work.
