Park Description
Chapman Field Park, developed on the site of a historic Army airfield, is a 483-acre nature resource-based park that provides recreational amenities in the form of nature trails, a canoe/kayak launch with parking lot accommodating 32 vehicles, a 3.5-acre dog park, and baseball fields.
Chapman Field Park also provides nature-based outdoor programming, including Miami EcoAdventure kayak trips, opportunities for community involvement in coastal cleanup days and various conservation-focused volunteer experiences.
