Dog Parks

Let your dog run, walk and play at any of 3 types of dog parks.

  • Dog Park Rules

The dog park is for everyone. Have fun, be safe and be courteous to everyone and their dogs.

If you break any of the dog park's rules, you will be removed from the park and may not be allowed to use the dog park.

    Dog Park Rules

    • Your pet must be up to date with vaccinations
    • All dogs must have current rabies tag displayed
    • Monitor your dog at all times
    • There is a limit of 3 dogs per person
    • Do not leave the park gates open at any time
    • All dogs must be on a leash until inside the fenced area
    • Scoop up after your dog
    • Do not bring dogs in heat or with parasites (fleas, ticks, worms, etc.)
    • Do not bring aggressive dogs
    • Stop any aggressive behavior or remove the dog if it continues
    • Pitbulls are not allowed. For more information, view the Miami-Dade County ordinance, Chapter 5, Sec. 5-17
    • Puppies under 4 months are not allowed
    • Fill in any holes your dog digs
    • Remember that your dog can get too hot in the sun. Hose your dog or bring him or her in the shade from time to time to stay cool
  • Dog-Friendly Parks (leashes required)

Stroll, run and play with your dog on a leash. Bag dispensers and waste baskets are available.

  • Dog Parks (free roaming)

Dog parks offer separate areas within a larger park for pets to run free without a leash. Amenities include play equipment, water fountains, bag dispensers and waste baskets, shaded areas and seating areas.

  • Dog Run Parks (free roaming)

Run, walk and play freely with your dog at our dog run parks. A dog run park does not have water facilities, bag dispensers or waste baskets. Bring waste bags to pick up after your dog and water to keep hydrated.
