Most Miami-Dade Public Safety Training Institute (MDPSTI) training facilities are available for use free of charge to partner agencies - Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation (MDCR), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).  However, some MDPSTI facilities are also available for rent to other law enforcement and criminal justice agencies, as well as educational institutions. View the Fitness Center Use Policy. 

Firearm Ranges
	The MDPSTI offers three firearm ranges for use and rental: Two 50-yard qualification ranges and one 100-yard tactical range.
Classrooms
	The MDPSTI facility has six available classroom spaces that can accommodate from 24-44 students. Most classrooms include retractable projection screens, white boards, and overhead projection and sound systems.
Command Post Classroom
	A state-of-the art technology based and interactive training arena designed strategic and command-level training for large-scale events and emergency operations.
Computer Lab
	A 24-station computer lab is equipped with instructor's module and smart board system.
Gymnasium
	A full sized basketball court gymnasium complete with retractable bleachers.
Aquatic Center
	MDPSTI's Aquatic Center includes a near Olympic-sized swimming pool with lane markers and covered spectator area.
Racquetball Courts
	Two air-conditioned, regulation-sized, indoor racquetball courts.
Defensive Tactics Training Room
	A specialty training arena equipped with mats, bags, and defensive training equipment.
Agility/Obstacle Course
	A multi-structure agility course that offers a wide variety of fitness challenges.
