The Miami-Dade Public Safety Training Institute & Research Center (MDPSTIRC) obstacle course is available for use free of charge to partner agencies - Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation (MDCR), and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). 

Partner agencies may not make reservations on behalf of outside agencies. However, the course is available for rental to other local and federal law enforcement agencies, as well as to all branches of the U.S. military.

MDPSTIRC's Physical Agilities/Obstacle Course has a variety of structures designed to test and challenge an individual’s physical strength, balance, coordination, and speed. 

Structures include: 

• a high wall and low wall,
• military crawl,
• balance beams,
• monkey bars,
• pull-up bars,
• parallel bars,
• climbing structures, and more.
