DMV to Go returns October 20th

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will offer its services at the Stephen P. Clark Center on Thursday, October 20th, from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Kids Aspire Program

Kids Aspire is for students ages 6 - 14 participating in Miami-Dade Parks after-school programs. The program offers assistance with homework, health awareness and is available at 4 park locations.

Intern Corner

The Community Advocacy Internship Program offers students the opportunity to experience working in local government.

Students contribute weekly reports, coupling their experience and point of view on pertinent issues, thereby bridging the generational gap.

Facts About Human Trafficking

Mr. Francesco Duberli, founder and Chief Executive of Survivor’s Pathway, specializes on developing awareness about the challenges, needs, and barriers faced by the immigrant Latino community and the LGBTQI communities living in the United States and more specifically, Miami-Dade County. Special emphasis has been given to the analysis and development of cultural and gender oriented interventions to prevent different types of violence experienced by these communities such as intimate partner violence, domestic violence, sexual abuse, human trafficking, and other violent crimes. In this interview, Mr. Duberli goes into an in depth description of the cause and effects of human trafficking.

Miami-Dade County Coordinated Response Team

Coordinated Response Team (MDC-CRT) is a network of agencies, community centers and faith-based organizations that can provide individuals who have experienced crime, violence or a traumatic event with a range of legal, medical, mental health and other support services to help them get back on their feet.
