Snapshot is a web-based application which allows residents to submit damage information to the County online. The application has four categories for damage, which are listed below:
- No/Minor Damage Habitable – the structure suffered only superficial or no damage and is fully useable during any required repairs.
- Major Damage Habitable – the structure is damaged but may be lived in during the repair process.
- Major Damage Uninhabitable – the structure is badly damaged and the residents must seek other living accommodations during the repairs.
- Destroyed – the structure has been destroyed and cannot be repaired; must be rebuilt. The residents must find other living accommodations.
Snapshot also allows the resident to input data regarding flooding inside or outside the structure. This information is important as it is an indicator of the scope of damage to surrounding infrastructure such as roads. Such information enables emergency responders to appropriately plan response efforts within the county.Back to Top Page Last Edited: Thu Jul 28, 2016 10:07:14 AM
