The County's college internship program provides college students with the opportunity to work on special projects and/or assignments with teams of professionals in their chosen field.
Internships generally last one semester coinciding with the college's school year. Work schedules are flexible to accommodate class schedules. The County will accommodate student and school requests for longer or shorter periods.
The majority of college internships are non-paid. However, there are areas of specialized study where a paid internship may be available.
To participate in the College Internship Program, the applicant must:
Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with an internship requirement. Students who are interested in a non-academic credit internship are welcome to apply.
Complete the application
Submit three reference letters from professors/instructors
Provide a copy of college transcripts
Only complete application packages will be accepted. Please email completed packages to Miami-Dade County Internship Coordinator or mail them to:
