Televising County meetings and public information programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Miami-Dade TV is the County’s government access television station, carried by all cable TV systems in Miami-Dade County.
Along with live coverage of meetings of the Board of County Commissioners and its committees, Miami-Dade TV takes pride in providing residents with a wide variety of informational and educational programming about government programs and services, public safety, arts & culture and the environment.
Miami-Dade TV appears on Channel 76 on Atlantic Broadband, Comcast and Xfinity.
Miami-Dade TV is now available to AT&T U-verse digital TV subscribers. Unlike other cable TV systems, Miami-Dade TV does not have its own dedicated channel on U-verse. Instead, AT&T groups all Public, Education and Government (PEG) channels on Channel 99, and uses streaming video technology to provide the signal, resulting in a smaller image on the screen. To watch the County's channel on U-verse, viewers can tune to channel 99 and select Miami-Dade TV from a list of options.
The goal of Miami-Dade TV's regularly scheduled news and informational videos is to bring residents important, useful and timely information about their County government's programs and services.
Departments are encouraged to request coverage of their services, events and other newsworthy stories. There are no costs associated with participation in these programs.
Programs are broadcast on Miami-Dade TV, streamed online on the Miami-Dade TV YouTube Channel and shared via social media channels. For maximum exposure, and to make the information even easier for residents to access, departments can place links to these programs on their own web pages, or include the links in newsletters or emails.
