Mayor's Office of Communications

The Mayor's Office of Communications is a link between Miami-Dade County government and its residents. It is the communications arm of the Office of the Mayor and all county government departments and agencies.


The Office of Communications is in daily contact with local newspapers, TV, and radio stations. Requests are frequently made by the media for interviews. Communications will assist in scheduling and coordinating these interviews.

Public Records Requests

Requests for access to or copies of materials related to specific Commissioners should be referred to the Board of County Commissioners Communications Office.

Questions about public records requests should be referred to the Miami-Dade County Office of Communications.

Special Event Coordination

The Office of Communications supports departments in planning, coordinating and promoting special events. Services include pre-event planning such as invitations and seating arrangements to event-day activities.
