Beach & Pool Access
- Beach Wheelchairs
Accessible pathways from the beach road onto the beach are available at Haulover Beach for use by persons with disabilities. Pathways are spread throughout the beach at five different areas, including north, central and south beaches. Showers and concession stands are wheelchair accessible.Back to Top
A certified Red Cross certified Water safety instructor teaches swim participants ages 21 and older with developmental disabilities to improve stroke techniques & prepares participants for Special Olympics competitions. Basic swimming skills are required.
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5 - 6 p.m.

Children ages 9-20 with physical disabilities have a great time during lap swimming for fun and exercise, located in A.D. Barnes Park. For more information call 305-752-4966.

- Wednesday & Fridays form 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., $40 for 10 classes or $150.00 for private classes.
Water exercises for adults 18 and older that promote joint flexibility, muscle strength, coordination, and balance.

Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 12 -1 p.m.
- A.D. Barnes Park
Tuesday & Thursday from 11a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Gould's Park (April-November)
Tuesday & Thursday from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
