Kids will jump into a summer packed with adventure, creativity and learning. Campers will enjoy hands-on STEM activities that spark curiosity, exciting field trips, recreational games that keep them active and plenty of opportunities to explore the outdoors and make new friends.
Camps run Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving children a safe, fun and engaging full-day experience all summer long.

Girls Empowerment and Mentoring (G.E.M.) Arts Camp for Girls
Surrounded by the natural beauty of The Women's Park, the Girls Empowerment and Mentoring (G.E.M.) Summer Arts Camp exposes girls to a variety of artistic experiences (dance, music, painting, theater, arts and crafts, journalism and women's studies) with the goal of encouraging each participant to find her creative voice.

Spend the summer exploring 114 acres of protected Pine Rockland Hammock. Campers will participate in traditional camp activities such as: games, crafts, swimming, and sports. Camp Dragonfly: For our youngest campers, they will have six scheduled activities per day. Operation Outback: Operation Outback campers will have four scheduled activities per day such as sports, theme-specific activities, archery, air riflery, cooking, swimming and large group games. The beginning of the day will start with Campers Choice where each camper is able to select two activities they are interested in out of a few choices. Campers’ Choice activities include water slide, advanced archery and air riflery, caves, Green Hub, swimming, trail bike riding, cooking, crafts, dance and cheer, Gaga ball, outdoor rec, court sports, science, woodworking and more.

Leaders in Training (LIT’s): The LIT program is designated for campers who are interested in a two-week session focused on leadership. LIT’s will have the opportunity to participate in some core activities such as shooting sports, pool/ water slide and theme-specific activities. Much of their day will be spent learning and implementing leadership and life skills that they will be able to carry back to school, future employment, and leadership opportunities through sports and school clubs. Included in each two-week session: LITS will be responsible for imagining, planning, and hosting a special event for younger campers from the budgeting stage, set up and debrief. Throughout the week, LIT’s will keep a notebook for journaling, weekly goals, ideas, and thoughts.

Session 4 (July 21 – August 1): Decision Making, Leadership Versus Following and Summer Wrap Up.
LIT end of the summer Red Carpet Awards Banquet for ALL sessions - August 1, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Camp OB Dining Hall. LIT’s should come dressed to impress.
Counselors in Training (CIT’s): The CIT program is a volunteer program for teens 16 years. All CIT’s will attend a 1 day training prior to the start of summer camp and will be placed in Camp Dragonfly to assist with younger campers. CIT’s are able to earn up to 7 hours a day for school graduation requirement volunteer hours.
