Registration is available at any park with a summer camp. Parents can also register their child for most of the summer camps online. However, families in need of financial assistance must register and apply for assistance in person at their selected park.

Summer Camps are also inclusive and managed by Miami-Dade Parks' Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists. Learn more about accessibility at Miami-Dade Parks.

All campers registered in general camps will have their swimming abilities tested and observed for improvement by certified safety instructors in a new water safety experience that will be educational, fun and lifesaving.

Our general camp program costs $40–90 per week, depending on location. The age for our participants are ages 6–17. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $12 per child. We offer sibling discounts of 10% for multiple attendees.

Camps are fully supervised, offering parents peace of mind, while their child enjoys a full recreational schedule with fitness activities, sports, arts and crafts, nature encounters, quiet games, and field trips.

The camps also include the enjoyment of learning Miami-Dade Parks' Fit2Play™ outdoor-fitness-fun activities that engage kids in active games promoting fitness and nutrition in fun ways that inspire learning and create healthy eating and exercise habits.
