June 8-Aug. 10
Junior Golf Tournament Series
Golf tournaments are held every Monday at 9 a.m. for boys and girls ages 7-17. The rate is $30 a player and lunch is included.

June 8-Aug. 21
Eco-Adventures Nature Adventure Camps at A.D. Barnes Park
Nature hikes, canoeing, kayaking and swimming for ages 6-14. The cost is $115 per week, plus a one-time annual registration fee of $12.

June 8- Aug. 21
Junior Golf Summer Camp at Country Club of Miami
Hosted by The Whole Game Golf School, kids ages 8-15 can enjoy full-day sessions for $235 per week or half-day sessions for $155 per week. Camps hours are 9 a.m.- 4 p.m., every Tuesday-Friday.

June 8- Aug. 21
Crandon Golf Academy
Summer Camp
Kids ages 4-15 will learn golf skills from PGA Professionals. Camps hours are from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with rates of $500 per week for full-day sessions or $250 per week for half-day sessions. Lunch is included.

June 15-Aug. 14
Palmetto Golf Academy
Summer Camp
Kids ages 8-15 will learn golf skills from PGA Professionals all summer long. Camps hours are from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. with rates of $425 per week for full-day sessions or $225 per week for half-day sessions.

June 15-Aug. 9
Zoofari Summer Camp
Zoofari Summer Camp is designed to immerse children ages 4-13 into the world of wildlife and conservation. It’s all about fun-filled adventure including live animal presentations, wildlife enrichment activities, visits to exhibits and more.

Fishing Camp at Larry & Penny Thompson Park
Kids ages 9-15 will learn about fish biology, get fishing tips and learn safe boating skills. The cost is $145 per week, plus a one-time annual registration fee of $12.

Drive, Chip and Putt Local Qualifier
Free PGA/USGA skills competition for boy and girls ages 7-15. Register online at www.drivechipandputt.com.

Miami-Dade Parks 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza

Junior Paralympic Sports Camp
Children with physical disabilities ages 8-16 can enjoy activities such as adapted sports, field trips and arts and crafts. Hours are from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. with early drop-off and late pick-up availability.

Deering Estate FEE-FREE "P.L.A.Y." DAY
Enjoy complimentary admission to the Deering Estate at Cutler on July 19, with Fee-Free programming and amenities designed to inspire and provide "P.L.A.Y." - Preservation, Learning and Adventure, Year-Round. July 22 at 11 a.m. - Calling All Active Older Adults: A warm-up prelude to “Exercise Dance Party Miami” at Tropical Park (July 25) – it’s time to show off your moves and help inspire the entire community to get off the couch and get active for fun, good health, and a dynamic life! Fitness Dance Party Miami
 July 25, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - All are invited to meet up at the Tropical Park Equestrian Complex for Miami’s largest free Fitness Dance Party! Residents of all ages and skill levels alike will come out for the thrills, as hundreds are expected to descend on the Complex for a morning of exhilarating fun. The heart-pumping action and dance rhythms will be non-stop with music-spinning DJs and energetic professional instructors that will keep you sweating and grooving to their fitness routines. Giant overhead fans will provide cooling breezes within the shade-covered show rings that will host “Fitness Dance Party Miami.” Traditionally a site for world-class equestrian events, each of the three show rings is more than 50,000 square feet in size, which means participants will have more than 150,000 square feet of dance floor to get their heart-healthy moves on. The event is part of Miami-Dade Parks’ ongoing initiative to foster improved health and wellness for everyone in Miami-Dade County and promote the many ways to stay physically fit. Chapman Field Kayak Trek at Chapman Field Park
Journey through a mangrove forest, past an active bird rookery and into Biscayne Bay as you learn about the history and ecology of the once-airfield turned park. Tour begins at 10 a.m. and costs $30 per person. Note: Bring sun protection, closed toe shoes and remember to keep hydrated.

Palmetto Junior Open
Annual junior golf tournament for boys and girls ages 12-17. Entry fee is $65.
