Recognizing our Volunteers
At Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces, we believe that our volunteers are an integral part of our organization. We are always looking to the citizens of Miami-Dade County as our source of assistance and realize how volunteers not only allow us to reach our organizational goals, but also to assist us in keeping the pulse of our society in our hands by their integration into our workforce.

Our annual Global Youth Service Day project took place on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Amelia Earhart Park. Beautification projects included painting, planting, and mulching the 5-acre dog park and park entrance.
The enhancements were possible thanks to Delta Dental, Marlins Ayudan, the youth of our community and their families.
