Meals on Wheels

Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services provides home delivered meals each week to low-income, ill and/or homebound persons with disabilities living within Miami-Dade County. Participants in the program receive seven frozen meals each week, along with fresh fruits, milk and other food items. Food is delivered Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

You must call 786-469-4707 to determine eligibility of the program. Staff is available in English, Spanish and Creole.


  • You must be a Miami-Dade County resident.
  • You must be 60 years of age or older with a disability or homebound. (Homebound means unable to leave your home without the assistance of another person).
  • Your spouse is also eligible.
  • Individuals with disabilities under 60 years of age who resides with eligible client, and is dependent on them for care.
