Service Adjustments Effective November 24, 2013

Route 24 Coral Way Limited

Route 24 will end at the Brickell Metrorail Station instead of Downtown Miami seven days a week.  Passengers can use Metrorail, Metromover, or Routes 6, 8 and 207/208 Little Havana Connection to travel between Downtown and Brickell Metrorail Station.

Monday through Saturday, the Route 24 Coral Way Limited will serve only the busiest bus stops on Coral Way between Ponce de Leon Blvd and the Brickell Metrorail Station:

  • Andalusia / Aragon and Ponce de Leon Blvd
  • SW 37 Ave and Coral Way / Merrick Way
  • Coral Way and SW 34 Ave
  • Coral Way and SW 32 Ave
  • Coral Way and SW 27 Ave
  • Coral Way and SW 22 Ave
  • Coral Way and SW 17 Ave
  • Vizcaya Metrorail Station
  • SW 3 Ave and 25 Rd (westbound) / 24 Rd (eastbound)
  • SW 13 St and SW 3 Ave
  • Brickell Metrorail Station

All other bus stops between Ponce de Leon Blvd and Brickell Metrorail Station will be served Monday through Saturday by the City of Miami Coral Way Trolley. West of Ponce de Leon Blvd the route will remain the same: short trips will operate to Westchester (SW 87 Ave) and the West Dade Library, long trips will operate to SW 137 Avenue via the FIU bus terminal, and weekday rush hour trips will operate to SW 152 Avenue.

On Sunday, Route 24 will serve all bus stops along the entire route from SW 137 Avenue to the Brickell Metrorail Station. The City of Miami Coral Way Trolley does not run on Sunday.

Route 3

Minor weekday northbound schedule adjustments will be made throughout the day between NE 36 Street and the 167 Street Terminal.

Route 32

On Sunday, the route will no longer enter and serve inside the MDC North campus.  Sunday service will remain as currently scheduled.

Route 33

Weekdays, the westbound trips at 2:00 and 2:25 p.m. will leave NE 5 Ave / 80 St earlier at 1:55 and 2:20 p.m.

Minor running time adjustments will be made to morning northbound trips.

Route 35

The first southbound trip on weekends will leave MDC Kendall campus five minutes earlier; at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and 7:05 a.m. on Sunday.

Minor northbound running time adjustments will be made on weekday and Sunday mornings.

Route 73

The starting and ending point on the northern loop of the route will be relocated from NW 68 Ave / Miami Gardens Dr to NW 73 Ave / Miami Gardens Dr adjacent to the Park & Ride lot.

Route 88

The Kendale Lakes portion of the route will be discontinued.  The route will continue to serve the West Kendall Transit Terminal via SW 88 Street seven days a week.  Service on Kendall Drive west of SW 127 Avenue will be improved to every 20 minutes during peak hours, every 30 minutes off-peak and Sunday, and every 24 minutes on Saturday.

Route 93 Biscayne MAX

Rush hour service will be improved from 18 minutes to every 15 minutes.

Route 95 Express Golden Glades

In an effort to improve service efficiency, 95 Golden Glades Express service will be modified on the following five minor holidays: Friday after Thanksgiving, MLK Day, President’s Day, Columbus Day and Veterans Day.  Select trips between Golden Glades and downtown Miami / Biscayne Blvd will be discontinued.  Rider information will be provided the week before the holiday.

Route C

Saturday, the 4:54 a.m. southbound trip from Washington Ave / Lincoln Rd will leave earlier at 4:48 a.m.  The first two northbound trips at 5:00 and 5:22 a.m. from the CBD terminal will leave earlier at 4:58 and 5:16 a.m. respectively.

Weekday midday service will be improved from 60 minutes to every 45 minutes.
