Metrorail Schedules

Metrorail operates 5 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. 
 
On weekdays (Monday - Friday): Green Line and Orange Line trains run every 10 minutes during peak hours for a combined frequency of every 5 minutes between Earlington Heights and Dadeland South Stations. During non-peak hours, Green and Orange Line trains run every 15 minutes, with a combined frequency of 7.5 minutes between Dadeland South and Earlington Heights Stations until 8 p.m., then every 30 minutes until closing.
 
On weekends (Saturday & Sunday): Metrorail provides 20-minute service during single tracking and 15-minute service when not single tracking. For passengers heading to and from Miami International Airport on weekends, an airport train shuttle runs every 15 minutes between Earlington Heights and Airport Metrorail station. Please note: Frequencies during single tracking are approximate and subject to change. To ride, you can pay directly at the fare gate with contactless payment or you can purchase an EASY Card or EASY Ticket, or a mobile pass on the GO Miami-Dade Transit app. Fare gates do not accept cash.

Metrorail Service Update:

• UPCOMING CONSTRUCTION CLOSURE AT CARIBBEAN BOULEVARD STATION FROM 4/25/26 TO 4/27/26:

  The Caribbean Blvd Bus Rapid Transit Station will be temporarily closed for construction from Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m. through approximately Monday, April 27, at 4 a.m.

  During this time, Route 601 will be relocated to the adjacent 602 (Transitway Local) stop.

  Please note that weather or unforeseen conditions may impact the schedule.

  We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance this station and your overall experience on Miami-Dade Transit.

  
  

  Please be advised of upcoming construction activities at the CARIBBEAN BOULEVARD BUS RAPID TRANSIT STATION due to repairs required at the station entrance.

  Beginning Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m. the Caribbean Blvd. BRT station will be closed until Monday, April 27 at 3 a.m.

  The 601 stop will be moved to the 602 stop (TransitWay Local) for the duration of the repairs.

  Please note that weather conditions and other unforeseen variables may impact the construction schedule and duration of this work. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to enhance this station and your overall Metrorail experience.
  

• Dadeland North Platform Elevator Temporarily Closing 03/30/26:

  Effective Monday, March 30, 2026, duration approximately 10-12 weeks:

  • The platform elevator at Dadeland North Station will close temporarily for modernization.
  • See the security guard for accessibility assistance at the station. Shuttle service will be available.
  • Exiting passengers requiring accessibility assistance should exit at South Miami Station and see the security guard.
