Metrorail

• Single-Tracking Schedule: Monday, February 9, 2026:
  
  

  Track preventive maintenance and repair work is performed after 8:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. In the areas where work is being done, northbound and southbound trains will alternate (single-track) service on the same track while maintenance is being performed on the opposite track. 

  Monday, February 9, 2026: Single-tracking scheduled after 9 p.m.

  • From Vizcaya to Dr. Martin L. King Station stations
  • All Green and Orange Line trains will operate every 15 minutes during off peak hours until 8 p.m., and then every 30 minutes until closing.
  • An Airport Shuttle train will be providing service after 8 p.m. between Earlington Heights and the Airport Metrorail station. Passengers heading to the airport will need to transfer at Earlington Heights station for an Airport Shuttle train.

  NOTE: To ensure you get to your destination on time during single-tracking, arrive at your train station a few minutes earlier, or track your train arrival with the GO Miami-Dade Transit App. You can also call Customer Services at 305-891-3131 to obtain more details on the single-tracking schedule.

Metromover

• Metromover will open at 2 p.m. this Saturday 2/14:

  
  

  On Saturday, February 14, 2026:

  • Metromover service will open at approximately 2 p.m.
  • Free bus shuttle service between stations will be provided from 5:30 a.m. until the Metromover system opens.
  • As part of the Metromover Upgrade Project, from time to time, the Metromover system will open late on designated Saturdays.

  The upgrade work will:

  • Improve system reliability. Increase vehicle frequency which will reduce wait times.
  • Increase the flexibility of routes to meet service demand and get riders to their final destination quicker.
  • Reduce maintenance costs and extend the system's lifespan by 30 years.

  Please note: this schedule may change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

• Financial District Station Temporarily Closing This Weekend:

  
  

  On Saturday, February 14 and Sunday, February 15:

  • Financial District Station will be temporarily closed while we continue work on upgrading the Metromover system. 
  • The Brickell Loop will continue to operate during this time; however, trips will begin and end at the Brickell Metromover Station and will not serve the Financial District Station. Riders are encouraged to allow additional travel time.

  Thank you for your patience and understanding while the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) continues advancing necessary work to improve the Metromover system for a better, safer, and more reliable experience.
