    new Transit services during Fourth of July weekend: Metrobus, Metrorail and Metromover will provide regular service on Friday, July 3, 2009 and Saturday, July 4th. However, on Saturday, July 4th, additional Metrorail and Metromover service will be provided to accommodate those attending evening celebrations in downtown Miami. To learn more, click here.

    Service Updates
    • Metrorail
      new  Metrorail weekend single-tracking schedule: Between Culmer and Brickell stations.
      • Friday, July 2, 2009, from 8 p.m. until closing. Evening northbound service from the Dadeland South Station will be provided every 30 minutes starting 8:30 p.m. until closing. Trains will depart from the Dadeland South Station 15 minutes later than the regular schedule from 8:45pm until 12:15 a.m. Evening southbound service from the Palmetto Station will be provided every 30 minutes starting at 8:22 p.m. and until closing.    
      • Saturday, July 4th - no single tracking due to special 4th of July schedule.
      • Sunday, July 5th, from about 5 a.m. until closing. Between 6:09 a.m. and 8:09 p.m., trains will depart from the Dadeland South Station 9 minutes later than the regular schedule, and 15 minutes later than the regular schedule from 8:15 p.m. until 12:15 a.m. The first train from the Dadeland South Station will depart 4 minutes later the regular schedule.     
      • Miami-Dade Transit conducts single tracking to do track-maintenance work.
      • To ensure that you get to your destination on time during single tracking, arrive at your train station a few minutes earlier, or track your train arrival times with Train Tracker. You also can call Customer Services at 305-770-3131 to obtain more details on the single-tracking schedule.

    Metromover

    • No updates at this time.

    Metrobus

    • Route A (101) now serving the Omni Bus Terminal: Beginning Friday, July 3rd, buses will now enter and serve inside the Omni Bus Terminal. View the map (PDF) for more details.
       
    • Metrobus routes 3, 75, 95X and H (108) detour: For approximately four months, buses will be detoured near NE 15 Ave. and 169 St. when the bridge is closed. View the map (PDF) for details.

    • Metrobus Route 202 (Little Haiti Connection) realignment: Beginning Friday, June 26, 2009, Route 202 will no longer provide service to the bus stop at North Miami Ave. and 38 St. Service will now be provided to the bus stop at NE 2 Ave. and 38 St. View the map (PDF) for details.

    • Metrobus routes 3 and H (108) detour: For approximately four months, buses will be detoured near NE 15 Ave. and 171 St. due to work on the bridge on NE 15th Ave. View the detour map (PDF).

    • Metrobus routes 132(Doral/Tri-Rail Shuttle) and 133(Airport/Tri-Rail Shuttle) service adjustment: The schedule for these routes changed on May 4, 2009 to coordinate with Tri-Rail’s schedule.
      • Route 132 (Doral/Tri-Rail Shuttle): This schedule was modified to allow coordination with a modified Tri-Rail schedule, which was implemented on the same date. Miami-Dade Transit will continue to serve three trains during both the morning and afternoon peak hours. During the morning peak hours, southbound trains arriving at the station at 6:29 a.m., 7:49 a.m., and 8:49 a.m. will be served. During the afternoon peak hours, shuttles will depart the Koger area at 3:43 p.m., 4:46 p.m., and 5:46 p.m. to meet northbound trains at 4:33 p.m., 5:23 p.m., and 6:23 p.m. See the schedule effective May 4, 2009.
      • Route133(Airport/Tri-Rail Shuttle): The schedule change for this route is designed to match changes being implemented by Tri-Rail on the same date. Miami-Dade Transit will continue to serve weekday Tri-Rail trains during the hours of 5:05 a.m. and 9:42 p.m. On weekends, Tri-Rail will operate as currently scheduled with Airport Tri-Rail shuttle operating between the hours of 7:37 a.m. and 10:22 p.m., serving the same trains as currently scheduled.     • Metrobus Route 123 (South Beach Local) detour: Until further notice, buses running near West Ave. and 20 St. will be detoured due to road construction. For more information, see the detour map (PDF).

    • Metrobus Route B (102) detour: Beginning Monday, April 13, 2009, and for approximately two months, buses will be detoured near Harbor Dr. and McIntire St. in Key Biscayne. For more information, see the detour map (PDF).

    • Metrobus Route 123 (South Beach Local) detour: Until further notice, due to road construction on 18 St., buses will use Dade Blvd. between West Ave. and Bay Road in Miami Beach. 

    • Metrobus Route 35 realignment: Due to a new intersection design at SW 117 Ave./Service Road and 136 St., buses headed northbound will be using SW 142 St. instead. This realignment is for an indefinite period of time. See the map (PDF).

    • Metrobus routes 9 and 10 detour: Until further notice, buses will travel on North Miami Ave. between NE 84 and 103 streets due to road construction on NE 2nd Ave.

    • Metrobus Route 33 detour: Until further notice, buses headed east and westbound will travel on N. Miami Ave. between NW 95 and NE 96 streets due to road repairs being done on NE 2nd Ave.

    • Metrobus Route 288 (Kendall KAT) detour: Until further notice, buses will travel south on SW 162 Ave. and then west on SW 88 St. (Kendall Drive). From there, buses will make a loop to resume the regular route. The detour is due to construction near SW 88 St. and 162 Ave. 

    • Metrobus Route 65 detour: Until further notice, buses headed northbound will travel on SW 57 Ave. and 88 St. due to the repaving of a portion of Old Cutler Road.

    • Metrobus routes 77 and 277 (NW 7th Avenue MAX) detour: Until further notice, buses will travel on NW 8th St. between NW 6th and 7th avenues due to road construction on NW North River Dr.  

    • Metrobus Route 123 (South Beach Local) detour: Until further notice, buses will travel north on Purdy Ave., east on 20 St., south on West Ave., and west on Dade Blvd.  This detour is due to FPL construction work.

    • Metrobus Route 75 detour: Until further notice, buses headed southbound and northbound will travel on NE 19 Ave. between Miami Gardens Dr. and NE 171 St. This detour is due to street construction on NE 15 Ave.

    • Metrobus Route E (105) detour:Until further notice, buses headed eastbound and westbound will be detoured to travel on NE 163 St. between NE 19 and 22 avenues due to road construction on NE 164 St.

    • Metrobus Route 91 detour:Until further notice, buses headed eastbound and westbound will be detoured to travel on NE 164 St. and NE 19 Ave. due to construction on S. Glades Dr. and NE 21 Ave.

    • Metrobus routes 62, J (110) and L (112) detour:
      • Until further notice, routes 62 and J (110) buses will be detoured to travel north on Meridian Ave., east on 23 St., north on Prairie Ave., east on 28 St., and then north on Sheridan Ave.  This detour is due to road construction on Dade Blvd. and Prairie Ave.
      • Until further notice, Route L (112) buses will be detoured to travel north on Meridian Ave., east on 23 St., south on Prairie Ave., and then east on Dade Blvd. This detour is due to road construction on Dade Blvd. and Prairie Ave. 

    • Metrobus Route 21 detour: Until further notice, buses headed northbound and southbound on NW 3 Ave. will be detoured to travel on NW 2nd Ave. between NW 10 and 14 streets due to road construction.

    • Metrobus Route 211 (Overtown Circulator) detour:  Until further notice, buses will be detoured to travel on NW 2 Ave. and NW 14 St. due to road construction.

    • Metrobus Route 2 detour: Until further notice, buses will travel on NE 84 St. and NE 2nd Ave. due to road construction.

    • Metrobus Route K detour: Until further notice, buses headed northbound travel on Royal Palm Ave. between 42 and 44 streets; headed southbound, buses travel on Pine Tree Dr. between 42 and 44 streets due to road construction.

    • Metrobus Route 32 detour: Until further notice, buses travel on Frontage Rd. between NW 151 and Jann Avenue due to street construction.

    • Metrobus routes 36 and A detour:Until further notice, buses that travel on NE 15 St., between Biscayne Blvd. and North Bayshore Dr., will be detoured to travel on NE 4th Ave.
