    • Tri-Rail passengers using a Tri-Rail paper ticket will be required to pay full fare when transferring from Tri-Rail to Metrorail or Metrobus. These passengers will need an EASY Card or EASY Ticket with either sufficient cash value or a valid MDT pass to board Metrorail.  Cash is only accepted on Metrobus.
    • Tri-Rail riders can still transfer to Routes 132 and 133 free of charge.
    • MDT pass products (7 day, regular monthly pass) cannot be used to pay Tri-Rail fares.
    • Tri-Rail fare products (one way, round trip 12 trip ticket, weekend pass and regular monthly pass) cannot be used to pay MDT fares.
    • Without a Regional Monthly Pass, only an EASY Card/Ticket with sufficient cash value can be used on both the MDT and Tri-Rail systems.
  • City of Aventura Transit
Five express routes provide free service to Aventura residents weekdays and Saturdays. Pay the regular fare to transfer to Miami-Dade and Broward bus routes at Aventura Mall.

Miami-Dade Transit passengers must request a free Inter-County Connection Ticket as soon as they board the bus on routes where Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) and Broward County Transit (BCT) buses connect north of Miami Gardens Drive (NW 183 Street), including Golden Glades and Aventura Mall. Inter County Tickets cannot be used to transfer in downtown Miami.

    • Transfers from MDT to BCT costs $0.50.
    • Transfers from BCT to MDT costs $0.60 for a full-fare transfer, $0.30 for a discounted-fare transfer, $0.95 for an express-bus transfer or $0.45 for an express-bus discounted fare transfer.

Inter-County Ticket can only be used on cash only fares on buses and passengers may be asked to provide verification of eligibility for reduced fare.
