Boundary Survey Requirement

A Boundary Survey is required when filing for a public hearing, and also for a building permit or zoning improvement permit if the property is contiguous to a municipal boundary. The boundary survey shall depict the location of any municipal boundary on or across the property being surveyed. The boundary survey submitted shall have been updated within one year from the date of an application filed. The requirement is per County Ordinance passed by the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners on September 12, 2002.
