Miami-Dade Commission Agenda Definitions
County Commission Rules - Rule 6.05
DECORUM
Any person making impertinent or slanderous remarks or who becomes boisterous while addressing the commission, shall be barred from further audience before the commission by the presiding officer, unless permission to continue or again address the commission be granted by the majority vote of the commission members present. No clapping, applauding, heckling or verbal outbursts in support of or opposition to a speaker or his or her remarks shall be permitted. No signs or placards shall be allowed in the commission chambers. Persons exiting the commission chambers shall do so quietly.
PRELIMINARY AGENDA:
The Preliminary Agenda is a list of legislative matters that are scheduled to be discussed at an up coming Board of County Commissioners meeting. This document is available four working days prior to the Board's meeting. In order to accommodate the inclusion of additions, deferrals and withdrawals of items prior to the meeting, the Official Agenda will be developed the morning of the meeting.
OFFICIAL AGENDA:
The Official Agenda is developed to correct any scrivener's errors and include all additions, deferrals and withdrawals that have been made to the Preliminary Agenda. The Official Agenda is available the morning of the Board's meeting.
