Speed Buying Event on March 27
The Greater Miami Chapter of The National Association of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) will present its Speed Buying Event on March 27 from 3 - 5 p.m. Each registered (and paid-in-full) vendor will have the opportunity to spend 2 minutes face-to-face with a buyer from a local government agency. Miami-Dade County makes registration easier with new online vendor registration portal
The Miami-Dade County Internal Services Department (ISD), Procurement Management Services has launched its new online vendor registration portal.
The online vendor registration portal will allow both existing and future vendors to easily do business with the County and participate in upcoming contracting and business opportunities for goods and services, and county design and construction contracts.
Notice to Renew Local Business Tax Receipt 2014
Vendors with a Miami-Dade County business address who are registered with the Internal Services Department (ISD), Procurement Management Services (PMS) are required to renew their Local Business Tax Receipt (formally Occupational License) by September 30, 2014.
Electronic Bidding Solution
Commencing January 21, 2014, Miami-Dade County will issue all competitive solicitations for goods and services issued through the Procurement Management Division of the Internal Services Department through the BidSync Electronic Bidding System. There is NO CHARGE TO VENDORS for use of this service. You will be able to view and submit your bid/proposal responses electronically through the BidSync system. Paper proposals will not be accepted for solicitations issued/advertised after this date. For all bids issued prior to January 21, 2014, paper bids/proposals will be accepted as described in the solicitations.
If you have not already done so, register with BidSync by choosing the “Please Register with BidSync” option from Miami-Dade County website. Alternatively, you can register through www.BidSync.com by choosing the “Free Registration” option.
The use of the BidSync System for Miami-Dade-County solicitations does not require your firm to participate in any of the BidSync subscription services or options. Miami-Dade County does not endorse BidSync subscription services besides the FREE service provided by BidSync for Miami-Dade County business. If you receive undesired marketing emails or notifications from BidSync, you can unsubscribe from those emails by scrolling to the bottom of the email message and clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link.
