Spay/Neuter Services for Cats
In an effort to help control the pet overpopulation problem and reduce the shelter intake of homeless cats, Animal Services will offer donor-subsidized spay/neuter services for cats, every Thursday and Friday at a low cost of $15!
The Cat Network also provides low-cost spay-neuter services through its convenient "Miami Meow Mobile" Spay and Neuter Van.

Every Wednesday Miami-Dade Animal Services in collaboration with ASPCA is offering all the love, 1/2 the price. Find your perfect pet and make adoption your only option. For more information call 3-1-1.

Discounted Pet Licenses
Licensing your pet is one of the most important steps you can take to increase your chances of reunification should your pet become lost. At Animal Services, low income pet owners can license their pets for a reduced fee.
Pet owners must be at least 18 years old and receiving public assistance.
Marlins Adopt-O-Mania
Come to Marlins Park on Sunday, June 2, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and find a furry new member for your "home team" at the Miami-Marlins Adopt-O-Mania 
pet adoption event.
Take advantage of reduced pet adoptions fees, free vaccinations and spay/neuter services (by appointment only). Call 3-1-1 for more information.
Animal Services Seeks Foster Families
Have you ever considered fostering a dog or cat in need of a home? Fostering adoptable animals to live in a temporary home opens up more space at the shelter, giving more shelter pets a second chance at a new life! All foster families must attend a foster training and agree to all foster policies.

Our adopters, staff and volunteers enjoy seeing photos and letters about adoption animals, where we get a glimpse into their lives in their new homes. If you would like to send a photo of you with your animal companion(s) along with some text, please send us your happy tail.
In the future, these may be shown on the Miami-Dade County Animal Services website and on marketing materials.

The Cat Network's "Miami Meow Mobile" is coming to your neighborhood this spring offering low cost spay and neuter surgeries for cats.
