Shannon D. Summerset works in the area of housing, social services, and economic development, and also practices in the area of tort litigation. She has worked on numerous deals which brought countless businesses and thousands of jobs to Miami-Dade County and has tried numerous landlord/tenant cases.

In the affordable housing area, Shannon has participated in real estate transactions that resulted in a significant increase in homeownership and affordable rental housing for the residents of Miami-Dade County. Shannon also has drafted legislation that led to business and tax incentives for businesses providing jobs to low and moderate income people.
