Shanika Graves joined the County Attorney’s Office in 2008. Ms Graves currently practices in the Tax and Finance and Torts sections of the County Attorney’s Office. She is also responsible for matters involving the Americans with Disabilities Act. Prior to joining the County Attorney’s Office, Shanikas practiced at the Office of the Florida Attorney General. As an Assistant Attorney General, she prosecuted violations of the Florida Civil Rights Act in the areas of housing, employment and public accommodations.
Shanikas received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami in 2003, and was a member of the Business Law Review. She obtained her B.A. from Florida State University, in 1997. Shanikas is a member of the Florida Bar and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida.
