Ron Bernstein is an experienced litigator who has obtained numerous settlements and jury verdicts favorable to the State, County and Public Health Trust in criminal, medical malpractice and tort cases. Ron has also handled many appeals, and won a frequently cited case involving the impact rule before the Florida Supreme Court.

Ron is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell, and has been named one of the best government lawyers in South Florida on several occasions. 

Ron was a former chief of the Torts/Medical Malpractice Section of the County Attorney’s Office, a position he held for over ten years.

Prior to becoming an Assistant County Attorney, Ron was a division chief in the adult felonies division of the State Attorney's Office in Miami, under then State Attorney Janet Reno.  He handled a variety of prosecutions, including trying several first degree murder cases.
