Armando R. Mendez is a member of the Commercial, Procurement & Construction and Federal Litigation sections. Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Armando was a federal prosecutor in Miami for over five years, which culminated in his service as the Deputy Chief of the Collateral Litigation Section. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to a federal judge in Miami and as a judicial law clerk to multiple federal judges in Alabama. Armando is a graduate of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Following his graduation from Florida State University, Armando was a Fulbright grantee in Madrid, Spain.
