Attorney Profile

Arlene Riveras is a member of the Tort & Medical Malpractice Litigation Section. Before joining the County Attorney's Office, Arlene commenced her career as an Assistant State Attorney in the Broward State Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony offenses. Following her service as a prosecutor, Arlene joined the City of Miami Attorney's Office as an Assistant City Attorney. There, she defended the city in civil litigation involving personal injury, negligence, and other tort claims, and she successfully handled over ten jury trials to verdict. Arlene has substantial experience in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit through trial and post-trial proceedings.
