Assistant County Attorney
Marisol Vilasuso joined the County Attorney's Office in 2026 and is a member of the Procurement, Facilities, Recreation & Culture Section and the Transit & Public Works Section. Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Marisol was a senior associate at Avila Rodriguez Hernandez Mena & Garro, LLP where she represented domestic and foreign businesses in commercial litigation cases in federal and state courts, as well as real estate matters. Marisol also has experience advising clients on risk assessment, compliance, complex discovery and internal investigations, and e-discovery.
Marisol served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William C. Turnoff, Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of Florida. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law in 2011, where she was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. She also served as a Fellow for the Miami STREET Law Program.
