Commissioner Bovo's office participates once a year in the Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program. During 2012, the application process will be open to District 13 small business owners in the spring. Please check our website for more information in the future as it becomes available.

The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is conducting an emergency repair to a valve on the 54-inchwater main on Red Road (Northwest 57th Avenue) in Hialeah from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. In order to make this repair, one southbound lane will be closed immediately surrounding the repair near West 60th Street. Once the repair is completed, the lane will be reopened.

District 13 residents came out to visit Commissioner Bovo's new Hialeah District Office during a grand opening celebration.  The office was part of the commissioner's promise to his constituents to bring government services closer to them.

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Jr. was appointed to the South Florida Regional Planning Council by Chairman Joe A. Martinez of the Board of County Commissioners.
