Concerned About the Florida No Match No Vote Law?
Please note that the identification at the polls is used solely to confirm the voter's identity – not to verify the voter's ID number or address. For more information, please read our Voter Toolkit Tip Sheet.
Wearing campaign paraphernalia when voting?
No voters will be turned away from the polls for any reason. While election laws require individuals who are campaigning for candidates to remain 100 feet away from polling place entrances, voters may enter the polling place, vote and then leave. Voters are asked to refrain from speaking about candidates or issues while inside of the polling place, regardless if they are wearing clothes depicting issues or candidates.
