Miami NICE Announces the Compassion Capital Fund Demonstration Program Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
The Miami NICE (Network for Integration, Compassion & Empowerment) partnership has released an RFQ for non-profit Faith-based and Community Organizations (FBCOs) interested in applying to receive, (a) free technical assistance grants and (b) become eligible to apply for a Miami NICE capacity-building sub-award grant. RFQs are due Tuesday, Feb. 23 by 2:00 p.m. at the City of Miami, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, FL 33133. 2008 Storms Disaster Recovery Funds
The Miami-Dade County Office of Grants Coordination, announces the availability of "2008 Storms Disaster Recovery Funds" (2008 Supplemental CDBG Appropriations) which will become available through the Department of Community Affairs (DCA).
The Office of Grants Coordination (OGC) is actively researching the federal government's Recovery.gov and Grants.gov websites to find current grant opportunities associated with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
The Office of Grants Coordination (OGC) was created on Oct. 1, 2008 when County Manager George Burgess pulled together resources from the Office of Strategic Business Management; Department of Human Services; Office of Community and Economic Development; and Park and Recreation Department, in order to manage and foster revenue maximization efforts in all County agencies and to administer the funding provided to community-based organizations (CBOs).
The Ryan White Part A Program was established in Miami-Dade County in 1991 to address the need for HIV/AIDS-related services among the economically disadvantaged and underserved residents of our community.
