Through the South Florida Workforce Career Services you can search for a job and research training opportunities and other career advancement services. Their website provides you a step-by-step guide to using the Employ Florida System and shows you how to file unemployment compensation. They provide training programs that can lead to placement in a high-demand occupation, and a job calendar to view upcoming events such as seminars, job fairs, workshops, and recruitments.

The South Florida Workforce also partners with social service agencies to bring job seekers a range of government services and resources under one umbrella.

Miami-Dade County has a new Career Center portal with many resources to help you get a job.

All aspects of the employment process with Miami-Dade County are coordinated by the Internal Services Department, which posts new employment opportunities as soon as they become available.
