Hurricane Irma

As we continue our recovery and cleanup efforts, please visit the Emergency website for the latest information on openings and closings in Miami-Dade County.

Miami-Dade County's Office of Resilience collaborates with County agencies, business groups, nonprofit organizations and other stakeholders to effectively integrate resilience into programs, operations and policies.

The Office is also guiding the implementation of the County’s first community-wide Sustainability Plan, GreenPrint. GreenPrint establishes the framework, goals and actions needed to inform, inspire and enable our government and community to achieve a more resilient future by improving economic prosperity, quality of life and environmental stewardship. The Office's role is to coordinate and assist with department-level and organization-wide change to a more resilient government culture, operations and service delivery in order to provide a more efficient and effective government that encourages and facilitates a vibrant economy, healthy urban environments, smart mobility and effective environmental stewardship.

The Office is also leading the County’s participation in the 100 Resilient Cities Program and several other initiatives.
