Small Business Enterprise Certification Programs

Miami-Dade County supports the growth and success of small businesses through a range of certification programs that promote participation in County contracting opportunities

Certified firms may qualify under one or more of the following categories:
  • Small Business Enterprise – Architectural & Engineering (SBE-A&E)
  • Small Business Enterprise – Construction (SBE-CON)
  • Small Business Enterprise – Goods and Services (SBE-GS)
  • Local Developing Business (LDB)
  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
  • Airport Concessionaire Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE)
Certification for a SBE firm is valid for a three-year period. To validate continuing eligibility, SBD may conduct a random audit within the three-year certification period.
