EASY Cards can be purchased at all Metrorail stations, major Metrobus transfer points, and EASY Card sales outlets.
Paper transfers have been eliminated. You will need an EASY Card or EASY Ticket to take advantage of 50-cent transfers. Customers without an EASY Card or EASY Ticket will have to pay full fare every time they board.
Tap in. Tap Out. In addition to tapping your EASY Card or EASY Ticket on the faregate when entering a Metrorail station, remember to tap your card or ticket when exiting a station as well. Metrobus passengers need to tap their card only when boarding the bus.
People with disabilities. Wheelchair customers who are not STS certified need to register with Miami-Dade Transit to obtain an EASY Card for discount-fare riders.

Discontinuing free transfers from Busway to Metrorail: Effective Oct. 1, 2009, free transfers from Busway routes to Metrorail will be discontinued. For additional information, click here.

Metrobus Route 29 detour: Until further notice, buses will be detoured to travel on W 20 Avenue between 60 and 68 streets due to road construction. For additional information, click here.
Metrobus Route 70 Air Show detour: Due to the "Wings Over Homestead" Air Show, buses will be detoured off of SW 288 Street to travel on SW 280 Street between 132nd and 127th avenues on Saturday, Nov. 7, and Sunday, Nov. 8, between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day. For additional information, click here.
Book Fair Metrobus detours: Due to the 2009 Miami Book Fair International, NE 1st and 2nd avenues will be closed between 3rd and 5th streets from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16. The following Metrobus routes will be detoured: Routes C (103), S (119), 2, 3, 6, 7, 7A and 120 (Beach MAX). For additional information, click here.

Enter United Way’s raffle to win an EASY Card loaded with a December transit pass. Raffle tickets will be sold next to the Transit Service Center at the Government Center Metrorail station, second level, and in the Overtown Transit Village lobby, from Monday, Oct. 26, to Friday, Oct. 30. Ticket sale hours are 7–9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. and 4–6 p.m. Tickets are $1 each, or $3 for 5 raffle tickets.

View the County's draft Transit Development Plan for FY 2010-19 here. The TDP is the planning, development and operational guidance document used in developing Miami-Dade Transit's 10-year work program, the Transportation Improvement Program and the Program and Resource Plan. The TDP is scheduled for approval by the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. in the Commission Chambers, second floor, 111 N.W. First Street. Work begins on Metrorail link to Miami International Airport: Miami-Dade Transit is currently working on the 2.4-mile extension of Metrorail that will go from the Earlington Heights Station to the Miami Intermodal Center next to Miami International Airport.
The extension is expected to be completed in 2012 and will provide a vital link for millions of visitors and residents who travel to and from the airport every year.
