A Zoning Hearing is required whenever a property owner or lessee desires to change the use of land, the request is made by applying for a public zoning hearing. Zoning Hearings are required for approval of all new proposals, and all development plans for a proposed use of land or a proposed structure that have been disapproved by staff. The Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources determines whether or not present zoning regulations allow for certain uses or development proposals.
