PortMiami is Big Ship Ready, with one-billion dollars of infrastructure improvements complete, including the Deep Dredge Project, which increased the channel depth to -50/-52 feet. Along with the Port Tunnel and daily on-dock rail service, all the critical links in the supply line are in place making PortMiami a global gateway.

Main cargo channel has been deepened to accommodate super-sized vessels.

Super Post-Panamax Cranes are the largest in any Southeastern U.S. port. The cranes have an outreach of 22 containers wide.

PortMiami has invested $50 million in the modernization of its on-dock freight rail system, creating a connection to the national rail system and expediting the movement of goods throughout Florida and the continental U.S.
