The Pioneers Walk
In 2008, PortMiami and its cargo partners unveiled the “Pioneers Walk,” a memorial honoring over 200 industry pioneers from air, maritime, trucking and rail who helped shape Miami’s rise as a global gateway. Featuring a glowing globe sculpture and tropical landscaping, the monument is located at the Port’s entrance near the Biscayne Boulevard access bridge.
