Customer Service Partners

In partnership with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and Miami Dade College, all Port employees -- from cruise terminal workers to longshoremen on the docks -- go through comprehensive customer service training that examines every aspect of the customer experience.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently launched new real-time technology at PortMiami allowing officers and agriculture specialists to release inspected cargo in real time. Using handheld devices, field officers can immediately clear containers speeding up release time by up to four hours.
