Moving to a newly created island home in the 1960s, the Port soon after witnessed the birth of the modern cruise industry and cargo gateway, and, over the past decades, improved upon its infrastructure, operations, and standard of service to earn the title of Cruise Capital of the World and Global Gateway.

Our goal is not only to meet customers' needs, but also to surpass their expectations. For both cruise and cargo, customer service means ensuring maximum efficiency in moving people and goods on and off the Port. Ground transportation improvements, automated cargo gates, and technologically advanced security systems all contribute to a safe, secure and customer friendly Port.
