The recruitment process will be facilitated by advising hiring departments of employees who have been displaced. Promotional positions will be filled through the standard recruitment process; however, employees in the Pipeline may be considered for promotional positions that are being filled competitively.
- County departments will be encouraged to grant interviews to displaced employees. It will be the Department's discretion to extend an interview and/or job offer.
-
Should the above efforts prove unsuccessful; you will be able to apply for "County Only" recruitments for up to two years after separation from County service.
While in the Pipeline Assistance Program, if a position is offered and not accepted, participants will forfeit any additional assistance through the program for this round of layoffs. Participants who are selected to continue employment in the classified service must serve a new probationary period.
