How much does parking cost for cruise passengers?
  • The cost varies depending on vehicle type and whether or not you use short-term or long-term parking lots. Please see our Parking page for details.
How much does disabled parking cost?
  • Disabled parking is free for vehicles with specialized equipment such as ramps, lifts, and hand controls. Please see our Parking page for complete information and details. 
How much is parking for crew members?
  • The on-board crew member rate is $50 per week. Parking fees can be paid in advance at the Finance Office located at 1015 North America Way, Miami, FL 33132 (room 121) and they are open Thursdays - Mondays, 6 a.m. - 11 a.m. and closed on Wednesdays and Fridays. They can also be purchased at any of our cashier ticket booths.  For additional information, please call 305-347-4933.
Is there reserved parking?
  • There is no reserved parking. However, ample parking is available.
Is there parking available for recreational oversized vehicles, and what is the cost?
  • Yes. Please see our Parking page for details.  
What forms of payment are accepted?
  • Cash and all major credit cards.  
When do I pay for parking?
  • Parking lot users pay upon exiting the parking facilities.

How close is the nearest airport?

  • Miami International Airport is 7.1 miles from PortMiami. Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is 25.7 miles from PortMiami.

How much is cab fare to Miami International Airport?

Is there shuttle service at PortMiami?

  • PortMiami provides free shuttle service between terminals only when a ship departs from one terminal and returns to a different terminal (i.e., departure from Terminal G, post-cruise arrival at Terminal B).

Is there public transportation from the Port of Miami to the Fort Lauderdale International Airport?

Are there any rental car agencies at PortMiami?

  • There are no on-site car rental agencies at PortMiami, however some provide transport shuttle services from the Port to their rental offices. Please see Rental Cars on our Transportation page for details.

Embarkation & Disembarkation

Should we drop off our luggage and passengers before parking?

  • When possible, passengers are advised to drop off their luggage prior to parking. Passengers should also be dropped off at the terminal, if possible.

Are there storage lockers for luggage at PortMiami?

  • For security regulations, storage lockers are not available on the Port. Contact your cruise line for luggage forwarding services. Please check with your cruise line for early baggage check-in times. Baggage storage is available if your flight departs from Miami International Airport, for a fee. For additional information, call 305-869-1163 or visit the airport site.

What type of documentation/passport is required to board a ship?

Does PortMiami have a lost and found? 

  • Lost and found items in the terminals are collected and stored by the cruise lines. Contact your cruise line for additional information.
