Miami-Dade Art Express

Miami-Dade Transit -- partnering with Wynwood, the Miami Design District, and the City of Miami Beach – is once again introducing the season Art Express route just in time for Art Basel and Miami Art Week 2016.

The complimentary service will run from Wednesday, November 30, through Sunday, December 4, 2016. Buses will run approximately every 15 minutes between Midtown, the Design District, and Miami Beach from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

In addition, Metrorail and Metromover, which already run service until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights, will extend their Thursday Dec. 1 and Sunday, Dec. 4 evening hours until 2 a.m.

Routes

The stops for the Art Express route are as follows:

  • Design District at NE 1st Avenue between NE 38th Street and NE 39th Street
  • Midtown at NE 29th Street between North Miami Avenue and NE 1st Avenue
  • Miami Beach at the Royal Palm Garage and 41st Street
  • Miami Beach at Meridian Avenue and 18th Street across from the Miami Beach Convention Center
