Environmental Fees and Citations

This is the current Miami-Dade County Environmental Resources Management fee schedule, effective Oct. 1, 2021:

Payments may take the form of personal checks, money orders, credit cards (Visa and Mastercard only) or cash. All checks must have the following written on the check:

  • Full name
  • Address
  • Make checks payable to Miami-Dade County 
  • Any pertinent information such as permit number or account number

All payments can be made in person, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Cashier window on the 3rd floor at

Payments can be mailed to the same address, directed to the Cashier's Office on the 3rd floor.

Customers should first obtain the necessary paperwork from the appropriate sections. This would include payment notification forms stating fees, permit numbers, etc.

Payments by phone can also be done to Environmental Resources Management, but must also go through the proper section first and then they will transfer the call to the cashier.

Currently, payments cannot be made online.

Paying uniform civil violation notices

Uniform Civil Violation Notices issued by an Environmental Resources Management Code Enforcement Officer are to be paid at 111 NW 1 Street, 17th floor.

They may also be paid by phone at 305-375-2333 with an approved credit card.

If permits and fees are owed in addition to the Uniform Civil Violation Notice payment, then the Uniform Civil Violation Notice is to be paid to the Clerk and the remaining payments are paid to Environmental Resources Management in the manner described.
